SDC Auxiliary Testing Products

SDC Perborate Sensitive Fabrics

There are two perborate fabrics available and they are termed P1 & P2. Fabric P1 will change colour from royal blue to a dull green in the presence of peroxy compounds.

Fabric P2 will show no colour change in the presence of a peroxy compound. They are used to determine the presence of peroxy compounds in wash test such as ISO 105 C06.

SDC TAED Sensitive Fabrics

These are a set of three dyed fabrics each with a different sensitivity to the bleach activator TAED. They are available in three levels of sensitivity:

• T1 High sensitivity = Orange Fabric
• T2 Medium Sensitivity = Navy Fabric
• T3 Low Sensitivity = Red Fabric

They are used to check the presence of TAED in the following tests:

• ISO 105 C08 and C09
