In producing this product range we have utilised the long expertise of SDC (over 70 years) in manufacturing the highest quality test consumables. SDC Wool Abradent Fabric
Testing and quality control are carried out at the yarn stage, after weaving of the greige fabric and the final finished abradant cloth. This ensures excellent correlation and conformity, not only within the production batch, but also between different production batches. Available in 5m packs.
SDC Woven Felt Pads and Non Woven Felt Pads
Produced to ensure the consistent weight and thickness specified in the standard, this ensures that the testing will achieve excellent correlation when used in combination with the full range of SDC Martindale consumables. Both products are available in ready cut discs of 90mm and 140mm.
SDC Polyetherurethane Foam
This product is custom manufactured to the ISO specification. (Many items currently available are inferior/non-conforming off the shelf foams of polyesterurethane type, which have different hardness and chemical properties.) To ensure improved shelf life and reduce yellowing through exposure to UV radiation in daylight, it is heat-sealed in a Black UV-stable Polythene pack. Available in packs of 25 sheets.
