By September 15, 2021No Comments

SDC Enterprises has confirmed its attendance at two of the industry’s key exhibitions next year, heralding a new phase of growth and business development in the wake of the global pandemic. The company – which specialises in the manufacture and supply of textile testing consumables for BS, EN and ISO procedures – will exhibit at Techtextil in Frankfurt in June 2022, following by ITMA Asia in Shanghai in November later the same year.

The return to face-to-face exhibitions has been welcomed by the wider industry, which has seen most events cancelled and postponed due to restrictions relating to mass gatherings during the Covid-19 pandemic. Techtextil was originally scheduled for May 2021 before being postponed, while its sister event in North America was cancelled altogether in May 2020. ITMA Asia meanwhile postponed its 2020 edition from October 2020 until June 2021, focusing on a more domestic visitor database than in previous seasons due to difficulties faced by business travellers in getting overseas.

Next year however will a turning point for textile machinery and its related industries as businesses forge ahead with plans to make up for lost time, reconnect with customers and demonstrate the new innovations that have been happening behind the scenes during localised lockdowns all over the world.

“Following this Coronavirus setback, the textile industry is excited to move forward,” says Ernesto Maurer, president of CEMATEX, organiser of ITMA Asia. “Due to a remarkable recovery in local demand, there is a need to expand production capacity quickly and to invest in new machinery to stay competitive.”

SDCE will exhibit its full range of textile testing consumables, including essential products for colour fastness tests, physical textile test procedures and light fastness tests as specified by BS, EN and ISO Standards. Discover the full range here, and get in touch to find out more here.
